My ticket for Bruce Springsteen. Incidentally, this was delivered to my hands only three days after I purchased it online from Stubhub. I was pretty impressed. Ticketmaster can't get a ticket for a Perth show to me that quickly and I'm only a three hour drave from them.
To make it easier, I'll be picking up my KISS and AC/DC tickets at the venue's will call windows. Becasue I have Peal Jam Fan Club tickets to the two Pearl Jam shows, a similar process wil ltake place but i wont know until I open the envelope where my seats are. At the 2006 Subiaco concert we were row 6 right in front.
The fact I am seeing Pearl Jam twice is a testament to the Pearl Jam 10 Club. The fan club sells tickets in pairs only to members for their show. As I am travelling alone, this left me with a spare ticket. Through their website, I managed to advertise my ticket for a swap with another member in a similar situation to me for the show the night before. Awesome!
Tickets for these shwos are pretty hot. Being a very small venue by Pearl Jam standards, they are doig gfourn nights there but fan club rules meant were that you could only purhcase 10C tickets for one night. A lot of people seem to have organised swaps so they could have 10C tickets to more than one show and this is really cool.
Oh well, in a month's time I will have seen both Pearl Jam shows and will be heading towards NYC to attend a joomla cms event (Joomladay) and to see Bruce Springsteen. Awesome!
